Bourne team helps Bakkavor to know their numbers
The clinical team from Hereward visited local factory Bakkavor to perform health checks on their staff.
Bakkavor is a large food factory in Bourne and the team went along for four shifts to give blood pressure checks and advice to employees, some of whom were already Lakeside patients.
Healthcare Assistants Julie Geddes and Zoey Parnham, plus practice nurse Victoria Woolacott and Assistant Practice Manager Denika Wilmot, attended the day and evening sessions and a total of 215 blood pressure checks were carried out.
Their involvement was scheduled so as not to affect the normal running of the Hereward Practice and it is the second year running that these checks have been offered at Bakkavor as part of the 'Know Your Numbers' week in September.
