Well done to Nurse Practitioner Charlotte Cawley on her five years at The Hereward Practice
She is pictured receiving her long service award from Lead GP Dr Tom Ashley Norman. She said: ‘I have been working at Hereward as a Nurse Practitioner for the past five years, following the completion of my prescribing qualification. I joined the team after a long and fulfilling career in practice nursing. I've always had a strong interest in triage, diagnosis, and patient management, so this role has been an ideal fit for me.
‘I began my nursing career over 13 years ago, initially specialising in respiratory care—an area I remain passionate about. I also have a particular interest in women's health and the management of minor illnesses.
‘Working at Hereward is especially meaningful to me as it’s local—I take great pride in caring for patients within my own community. We have a fantastic team of doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff. Everyone is supportive, collaborative, and committed to providing excellent care here which I like!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 20-month-old little girl. I also have a passion for photography and love hiking whenever I get the chance.’
