Free Digital Drop-in Session
We are running a free digital drop-in session with national charity AbilityNet. It will take place on Thursday 9th October 2025, from 12pm to 2pm at the practice.
The session is open to all patients and local residents who need help using technology or accessing online healthcare services, such as the NHS App and Anima.
AbilityNet will offer one-to-one support for anyone needing help with their smartphones, tablets, or other devices. This includes changing settings, improving security, fixing common issues, and learning how to use online healthcare services, such as viewing test results and ordering a repeat prescription.
Staff from the practice will be available to answer questions about using our online services.
Dr Tom Ashley-Norman, GP Partner at The Hereward Practice, said: “Being able to use online services with confidence makes a real difference to how patients manage their health. This drop-in is a chance to get friendly, practical support with everyday technology, whether that’s setting up an account, changing a setting on your phone, or learning how to use the NHS App. We hope as many people as possible will come along.”
No need to book, just drop in between 12pm and 2pm. Laptops will be available, but please bring your own device if you can.
