Veterans Support Service Open Day

Veterans Support Service is holding an Open Day for all veterans and their families.
The ‘one-stop shop’ will be an opportunity for veterans to meet with local and national support agencies and charities to see what help is available and how to access it.
The event takes place at the Borderville Sports Centre at Stamford College, PE9 1US, from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 28 October. It is free of charge to attend. Refreshments will also be available.
Members of the Four Counties Personalised Care Team, including our social prescriber, Mel Dutton, will also be on hand.
She said: ‘This is a great local event where veterans and their families can talk to us, as well as representative from organisations, like the RAF Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes, SSAFA as well as more local groups including Mindspace. We encourage all veterans to come along and see what help and advice is available to them. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.’
